Carolyn Hall earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology from Stanford University School of Medicine, where she studied from 2003 to 2009. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from West Virginia University, completing her studies from 1996 to 2002. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for her career in biosafety and biological research.
