Cheryl Stanley has been working as a Computing Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since 2020. During her internship, she gained practical experience with Entity Frameworks, API calls, and services, as well as front-end development. Cheryl contributed to significant projects, including converting AngularJS functionality into Angular and creating a hybrid application. She also utilized Angular CLI, Git version control system, and Azure DevOps in her work. One of her key contributions was leading the addition of a ChangeLogs page to the CAAS application, which improved user experience by providing detailed information on past versions, features, bug fixes, and release dates.

Education and Expertise

Cheryl Stanley completed her high school education at Livermore High School from 2014 to 2018. She then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Las Positas College, studying from 2018 to 2021. While at Las Positas, she founded and served as the first President of the official Computer Science/Engineering Club, where she organized club activities and coordinated field trips. Currently, she is studying Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, working towards a Bachelor of Science degree since 2021.

Community Involvement

During her time at Livermore High School, Cheryl Stanley was actively involved in community projects. She participated in initiatives such as a Collection for the Homeless and the Youth Mental Health Project. These activities reflect her commitment to community service and her interest in addressing social issues.
