He also completed Graduate Engineering Studies focused on Free Surface Flow and Operations Research in 1988. Throughout his career, Ron Anderson has been involved in significant projects related to water resource management. He served as the hydrologic lead and project sponsor for the Arbuckle Reservoir Project, overseeing its final design. He also authored the grant proposal and project justification for the Prairie Reservoir Project. Additionally, he leads research coordination on soil moisture monitoring applications, which are critical for effective water supply planning.
