About Adam Little
Injury litigation is my focus. In Vokes Estate v. Palmer, [2011] O.J. No. 3935 (S.C.J.), I represented the family of a 30 year old mother of two who passed away in a motor vehicle collision. At trial, the defence blamed the deceased entirely for the crash. The jury concluded that the defendant was 100%% responsible, and awarded a record amount of damages for the young children of the deceased. In his decision respecting legal costs, the trial judge said: "Mr. Little did an excellent and efficient job in presenting the case... Mr. Little’s skills vastly exceeded that of most counsel his vintage... The case was presented very effectively by Mr. Little. Examination and cross examinations were focused - certain witnesses were dispensed with. The extensive preparation time saved time at trial." ---------------- Some other recent cases in which I have been involved: Dicks v. Bellissimo (Div.
