Educational Background
Andrew Blickle graduated Magna cum Laude from American University in 2016. He earned both a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics. Currently, he is furthering his education by pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy.
AmeriCorps VISTA Experience
Andrew Blickle is an AmeriCorps VISTA alum from Reading, PA. After completing his VISTA service with LPTM in 2017, he transitioned into a role within the organization, continuing his commitment to community service and public engagement.
Coaching Experience
Andrew Blickle has an extensive coaching background across various sports and educational levels. He has coached baseball at the elementary school level, basketball at the middle school level, and soccer at a collegiate level, demonstrating his versatility and leadership in youth sports.
Public Policy Work with DC Public Schools
During his tenure as a UELIP in the DC Public Schools’ Central Office, Andrew Blickle wrote a policy proposal aimed at transforming the DCPS community service graduation requirement into a comprehensive service learning program. This experience highlights his ability to influence educational policy and advocate for structured community involvement.
