Earlier roles included Field Service Technician for 9 months in 2004 and Project Specialist for 8 months in 2005. Lore's career began at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. as a Post Production Tech.

Education and Expertise

Lore Galan Leonard earned a Bachelor's Degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, studying from 1998 to 2001. Prior to this, Lore studied Communication and Media Studies at Long Island University from 1994 to 1996. This educational background supports Lore's technical expertise in telecommunications and media production, enhancing capabilities in project management and technical installations.

Technical Skills and Responsibilities

In the role at Lightpath, Lore conducts troubleshooting and testing with layer 2 and layer 3 testing using the VEex meter to ensure the integrity of mux connectivity. Responsibilities also include the installation, configuration, and testing of complex Ethernet circuits, including E-line, V-line, and various Gigabit circuits. Lore utilizes Remedy software to manage and resolve maintenance tickets and checks for fiber failure during new ring turn-ups using OTDR.

Before entering the telecommunications field, Lore gained experience as a Sports Production Intern at ABC News in 2001. This internship lasted for 5 months and provided foundational skills in media production, contributing to Lore's understanding of communication within the industry.
