I have a very 'hands on' and technical approach, am able to absorb new technologies and concepts and re-present them to different audiences. Baptized in March 1988 into the Seventh-day Adventist church. I held various positions on the church board for 14 years, including treasurer, clerk, religious liberty, communications leader. I have been serving The Lord in independent ministry since Aug. 3, 2013. In 2001 I developed a lay internet ministry, for internet evangelism and nurturing of the church. Currently involved with building a network of Adventists within the LINKEDin community of over 500 million members. Almost all of the 5,000 connections on my first level are Adventists, (about 99.75%) even if their profiles do not mention their connection to the church. Proposed an improvement to church working policy BA-42 which was approved by NAD in 2009. Two proposals to change Fundamental Beliefs submitted to FBRC in 2012. One is to change the name of Belief #2 from Trinity back to 'The Godhead' and second is to include a statement about 'card playing in the church' to the belief about Christian Behavior. Previously proposed two changes to the Church Manual which were not approved, but someone made similar proposal that was approved by 59th Session. I discovered three errors in the Church Manual. Website design and evaluation of websites for the purpose of suggesting improvements.
