I mass mailed out resumes and attended Toastmaster classes to network. I landed at Procom Technology, where I was given a crash course in IT and a 4" binder that housed all of the dot-matrix printouts for the large territory that included Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland. I worked for a broker and learned the smile and dial method. By analyzing product spreadsheets, I was able to ascertain the best upgrades for clients as the company moved forward into network technology. With my territory aligned in the heart of the country's federal center, it didn't take long to develop strong relationships on Federal levels and become part of the Federal market. I have an extensive list of contacts and colleagues to this day. I believe in honesty, integrity, and accountability. I work hard for others, do right by others, and deliver on my promises. I lead by example to ensure that my colleagues can rely on my decisions and my teams. I trust in collaboration, not competition. With tenacity and a keen comprehension of my client's needs, I cultivate positive relationships that last.
