Additionally, Makar held positions at EDS as Senior Infrastructure Specialist, Towers Perrin as Site Reliability Engineer, National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance as an ASP.NET Developer, GlaxoSmithKline as Systems Integrator, and Ketchum Public Relations as a Systems Administrator.

He successfully navigated the challenges posed by the pandemic, opening the Bucharest office in August 2020 and officially launching the Cluj office in March 2021, leading a predominantly remote team.
