He coordinated the transition to a new Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) vendor, integrating multiple platforms seamlessly. He led data migration efforts from external vendors to internal warehouse servers, developed a data architecture that integrates both structured and unstructured data sources, and created firm-level resources including database connectivity and interactive dashboards. He also implemented alternatives to traditional FTPs and onsite servers through APIs and AWS cloud services.
Development of Business Intelligence Tools
In addition to his other responsibilities, Patrick Thompson designed and implemented bespoke business intelligence (BI) tools to monitor market and regulatory risks. These tools have enhanced the company’s ability to analyze and mitigate various risks effectively.
