Guoning Fu has been with Materion Corporation since 2015, initially serving as Application Manager and Sales Manager until 2019. In this capacity, he led the first manufacturing project in Asia for Materion, coordinating with three local tolling partners to transfer two key production lines to the region. Before joining Materion, Guoning Fu worked at Global Brass & Copper Inc from 2012 to 2015 as a Market Development and Technical Service Engineer. His role involved market analysis and providing technical support to enhance product offerings. Prior to that, he spent three years at 海亮集团有限公司 (Hailiang Group) from 2009 to 2012, where he held positions as Corporate Management Trainee, Process Engineer, and Senior Process Engineer across locations in Zhejiang, Vietnam, and Shanghai. This diverse experience provided him with a strong foundation in engineering and management.
Education and Expertise
Guoning Fu earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. He completed his undergraduate studies from 2003 to 2007 and continued to achieve his Master's degree from 2007 to 2009. His educational background in metallurgical engineering equips him with the technical knowledge necessary for his roles in manufacturing and engineering management.
