Work at Mathematica
Anthony D'agostino currently serves as a Senior Research Economist at Mathematica, a position he has held since 2023 in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, he supports the technical development of a geospatial-powered greenhouse gas (GHG) calculator for USAID, aimed at estimating emissions from agriculture, forestry, and other land use investments. Prior to this, he worked as a Research Economist at Mathematica from 2018 to 2023 in Oakland, California.

Anthony D'agostino has an extensive academic background in various fields. He studied Physics at Davidson College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Physics from Rutgers University. He pursued advanced studies at Columbia University, achieving a PhD in Sustainable Development from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) between 2011 and 2017. Additionally, he is currently working towards an MPhil in Sustainable Development at Columbia University, which he began in 2015.
