Jennifer Tabakin is the Program Manager for South Coast Rail at MBTA and serves as the Town Manager and CAO for the Town of Great Barrington. She holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and History from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Current Positions
Jennifer Tabakin is currently serving as the Program Manager for South Coast Rail at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been in this role since 2019. Jennifer is also working at the Town of Great Barrington as Town Manager and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) since 2013.
Education and Expertise
Jennifer Tabakin holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning from New York University, having studied from 1993 to 1996. She also earned another Masters in Urban Planning from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service during the same period. Furthering her expertise in the field, she pursued a specialization in Construction Management at New York University's Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1999 to 2001. Jennifer also holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed from 1985 to 1990.
