Rahimi was then promoted to Deputy Director of Paratransit Operational Strategy from 2018 to 2020, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Since 2020, Rahimi serves as the Deputy Chief of Paratransit Services.

Additionally, Rahimi served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2014 to 2017 and at Rutgers University from 2013 to 2014.
Education and Expertise
Mahour Rahimi holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Planning from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, earned between 2014 and 2017. Prior to this, Rahimi achieved a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Transportation Engineering from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, completed in 2013. Rahimi’s educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, obtained in 2012.
