About Kelly Herron Lieberman
In 2017, I survived an attack on the run that went viral. I took advantage of the opportunity to make an impact on the world by empowering women and runners to fight back. I started my own business, Not Today, a platform through which I connect with the running community and others with personal safety concerns. Prior to COVID, I was a keynote speaker and co-taught self-defense workshops for runners and corporations. My advocacy helped start a movement of safety for female runners and I was on the cover of Runners' World Magazine in Nov/ Dec 2019. I am the subject of a documentary called "Not Today" produced by Hearst Media that brings an unflinching look at personal safety while running as a female. To further my mission of keeping runners safe, I joined the executive team of RunBuddy - a GPS connected smartphone safety app for walkers, runners, and cyclists. Having spent 13 years in Seattle as an Account Executive for Amazon and a Program Manager for medical aesthetics marketing platform, RealSelf, I have a strong acumen for initiating and cultivating genuine relationships. I relocated to the Jersey shore in 2019, and in the wake of the COVID pandemic, I joined McGraw-Hill Education (formerly Achieve3000) to help teachers and students adapt to the rapidly-evolving world of online education for K-12.I credit my success to understanding the needs and unique challenges of others; designing creative solutions; and consistently demonstrating integrity.
