As an AI researcher, enterprise data strategist, and trusted technology advisor, I counsel government and commercial entities on emerging tech, decision intelligence, and the application of analytics and informatics to transform complex operations. Areas of interest include: AI/ML (particularly for modeling large scale population behavior), resilient systems, data ethics, and equitable access to information. I’m an avid advocate of data transparency, empowerment through education, and the democratization of analytics, focused on ensuring the right data reaches the right decision-maker at the right time, whether that be an executive, a healthcare provider or a consumer. I am driven by a love of novel problem solving, creativity, and social entrepreneurship. Most recently, I was the founder and CEO of an advanced technology firm responsible for many critical data systems within high visibility Defense and National Security programs, as well as the Director of a research center providing vital services to NGOs focused on international development, sustainability, and education. I’ve also been a member of various government, industry, and academic advisory committees on the future of Federal data and AI, with my work paving the way for the enactment of enterprise data standards, evidence-driven decision frameworks, and the design and launch of major analytics platforms. Outside of work, I’m an author, researcher, and active member on the Boards of several charitable organizations that promote equitable access to data and education. I have a passion for supporting and mentoring fellow independent creators, whether of businesses or board games.
