About Jessica Ziyu Chen (She/Her)
As a Ph.D. candidate in physiology at Cornell University in New York City, I work closely with clinicians at both Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital on tumor evolution-induced drug resistance using genome sequencing analysis. Before joining Cornell, I focused on establishing a drug screening platform using human induced pluripotent stem cells in Japan, where I have worked under Nobel prize Laureate, Dr.Yamanaka and received my Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Osaka University. My work has led me to develop strong analytical, research, programming, and interpersonal skills and fostered her understanding of oncology and gene engineering.
