About Morgan A. Webster
Morgan received her bachelor’s in political science, focusing on technology policy, from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Civic Engagement at Syracuse University. Morgan also studied at the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC and the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. Morgan has worked for NJ Governor Phil Murphy, NJ Congressman Donald Payne Jr., and NY Assemblywoman Pamela Hunter. In these positions, she created legislation and provided strategic advice surrounding a multitude of issues. Morgan then transitioned to Mercury, a high-stakes public strategy firm in DC. She provided strategic counsel to a wide variety of interests, including international e-commerce platforms, multi-billion-dollar corporations, and non-profits, actively translating tech policy ideas to viable legislation. Today, Morgan serves as Director of Marketing and Business Development at Sohosquared. She manages relationships with major financial institutions and strategizes improvements in software UI and business development. In her spare time, she works to accelerate Black entrepreneurs’ businesses through brand strategizing, fundraising, and leveraging her relationships to facilitate investments from Venture Capital Firms. Morgan has spent extensive time living overseas in France and England, pursuing her passion for politics, technology development, and service.
