I am an experienced leader within the data centre, cloud services and critical engineering operations sectors. Dynamic and dependable, with analytical expertise, evaluating risk, applying good judgement and having a strong ability to partner, communicate and influence across functions. Highly self-motivated, focused at simplifying and automating processes at scale to drive continuous design improvements, always seeking out better processes, procedures or equipment to improve safety, security and availability while improving efficiency and reducing operational reduce risk. Having exceptional interpersonal skills, I have recruited, trained and led teams ranging in size from small specialist groups, project teams and large organizations. I have championed change management across aligned functions globally, simplifying workflows. With a servant leadership style, I have created environments that are conducive to motivating people, improving processes and reducing the chances of human error, implementing SOP, MOP and EOP’s and opening up opportunities for people to improve and develop their careers. I have a proven track record in operations across design, build and operations of hyperscale Data Centers. I have managed CAPEX and OPEX budgets up to $80M that includes a large portfolio of “best in class” projects, across a wide variety of critical and non-critical real estate, spanning the EMEA, AMER and APJC Regions. Growing Operations Organizations form small Colo based teams to fully leased operated Clusters in excess of 500MW critical infrastructure and teams of up to 400 people across server, networking, engineering, logistics and physical security.
