Current Role at Métis Nation of Alberta
Lawrence Gervais serves as the Regional President at the Métis Nation of Alberta, a position he has held since 2018. In this role, he oversees initiatives and programs within Region 3 - Southern Alberta. Gervais also holds the position of Co-Minister of Education, Training and Research at the Rupertsland Institute - Métis Centre of Excellence, where he has been active since 2015. His responsibilities include enhancing educational opportunities and training for the Métis community.
