Bob Hergott serves as the Regional Service Leader for Central Canada at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. He has held this position since 2012, overseeing a team of fifteen industrial field technicians located throughout Central Canada. His responsibilities include managing the mechanical and electrical installations of large custom heavy and vehicle weighing systems. Hergott has also played a key role in the expansion of the North American service network by managing the start-up of remote service facilities and developing independent service providers.

Prior to his current role, Hergott accumulated extensive experience in the automation and manufacturing sectors. He worked at Meikle Automation in various capacities, including Service Manager, Division Manager for Service & Small Systems, and Toolroom Manager. His tenure at Meikle Automation spanned from 1998 to 2012. Additionally, he worked at ATS Automation as a Toolmaker Apprentice/Toolmaker from 1988 to 1994 and at Systematix Inc. as a Machine Builder from 1994 to 1996.

Hergott's educational background includes studying at Conestoga College, where he achieved a Tool & Die Trade from 1988 to 1991. He has also pursued further education at Conestoga College, focusing on the Ontario Management Development Program since 2001.
