Michael is currently the Chief Technology Officer, General Counsel for the Disney Group International, Inc. Michael also serves as Technology Business Journalist for the HuffPost focusing on foreign affairs, globalization and technology. Michael advises on Corporate Board Governance and is a member of the Technology Business Management Council a non-profit organization with the goal of creating and promoting “best practices" for running IT as a business with executives from Apptio, Facebook, Cisco, DirecTV, Goldman Sachs, Clorox, The Coca-Cola Company and Xerox. His extensive background is that of an Oracle e-Business techo-functional expert that provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Integration and on-site instruction while delivering world-class information system solutions to the Public and Private Sectors. BREAKING THE MODE: Unlike many other system integrators, Michael uses his prior military LEADERSHIP skills (Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder) and experiences that translates to his civilian occupation as an elite Oracle System Integrator and Management Consultant. HIS STORY: Prior to joining Oracle Corporation, Michael was a fixed income strategist and a member of the Emerging Markets Debt Team for Prudential Fixed Income in Columbus, OH and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. In 1997, along with one of his joint Law School/MBA classmates, Michael started a private hedge fund and private equity firm.
