Hayley Jarvis has served as the Head of Physical Activity at Mind since 2018. In this role, she has been instrumental in developing initiatives that promote mental health through physical activity. She has also held the position of Community Programmes Manager at Mind since 2015, where she has contributed to various community-focused projects. Her leadership has been pivotal in establishing Mind's partnership with the English Football League, which began in the 2018/2019 season.

Hayley Jarvis holds a BA Hons in Sport with Business Studies from De Montfort University, where she studied from 2000 to 2003. She furthered her education at The University of Birmingham, earning an MEd in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs from 2009 to 2012. Before her current roles at Mind, Hayley Jarvis worked in various positions related to sports and community programs. She served as Head of Inclusive Activities from 2013 to 2015 and as Inclusive Activities Manager from 2010 to 2013. Her earlier experience includes roles as Sport & Leisure Officer and Sport and Leisure Manager from 2005 to 2010. This diverse background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of community engagement in sports.
Achievements
Hayley Jarvis has contributed to significant initiatives in the realm of sports and mental health. She played a key role in the creation of the FA's Coaching Deaf Footballers course and the ASA Deaf-friendly swimming I-learn course. Additionally, she co-designed the Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity training course, which is now delivered by 24 local Minds across England and Wales. She has also led the programme management of the Get Set to Go initiative, funded by Sport England and the National Lottery.

Hayley Jarvis is a regular spokesperson on mental health and sport, addressing both grassroots and elite levels. She actively supports the Mental Health Charter for Sport and Recreation, collaborating with the Sport & Recreation Alliance and the Professional Players Federation.
