About Joel Dietz (Hiring)
Joel Dietz is a game designer, artist and entrepreneur who has been at the forefront of several future tech trends including blockchain, organisational design, AR/VR, AI art, and gaming. He was a former competitive programmer who started several notable projects in the early days of Ethereum (including Metamask), and wrote the first whitepapers on cryptoeconomics, reputation, and the network state. Joel currently works on a new programming language for AI has been used to produce a new game engine that can run universe scale simulations. This has already been used to create several unique games including the Philosopher Game (a counterfactual game for AI alignment) and a Space Battle Royale game. Joel has lectured and organised workshops at the Institute for the Future, Stanford Business School, MIT Media Lab, Harvard Berkman Center, Singularity University, RMIT, and Dubai Capital Club. He also also worked with several Fortune 500 firms to provide management consulting on key topics in global innovation. He is open to conversations with people who want to stay ahead of the curve and to make use of AI for global good.
