Kristina Vorndran is pursuing her MBA at MIT in Cambridge, MA with a concentration in Enterprise Management. She holds her Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning (MS, PFP), is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor® (CRPC®), where she served as a Wealth Advisor at Mariner Wealth Advisors helping clients build, manage and maintain wealth. Having lived in Germany, Italy, and America and having traveled to 30+ countries, she is well-rounded and cultured. Kristina grew up in Germany, and as an elementary school student moved to America. She is a dual citizen, speaks three languages fluently (German, Spanish and English), and has learned some Italian while she lived in Italy. Kristina has a love and passion for formula kart racing. She is the first and only U.S. female Grand National Champion (second woman in the world to win a national championship), competing against thousands of national racers. She now serves as a nationally recognized coach and mentor for young and aspiring drivers in the automotive racing community. For her undergraduate degree, Kristina was ranked as the top undergraduate student, receiving the 'Top Scholar Award' and the 'King O'Neal Scholar Award' for the highest undergraduate student ranking, and graduated 3 semesters early, summa cum laude. Financial literacy being close to her heart, Kristina is the founder of an EdTech platform, and co-founded a pro bono program in her local community, serving her local Sarasota Community by educating young professionals in financial literacy. She served as the Chair for the Sarasota YPG Council, was on the Board of Directors for the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, and was an Advisory Board Member for the USF Business School (Sarasota-Manatee Campus). She is also the youngest President to ever serve at her beloved charity, Just for Girls, where she set her efforts on economic empowerment for underprivileged girls aged 5 to 18.
