About Ileana Musa (She/Her/Ella)

I believe financial services make a real impact by helping people reach their financial goals and improve their quality of life. We are empowered when we have the resources to make wise decisions based on our values, purpose, and our personal goals. I lead teams that partner strategically with advisors to help clients define and achieve their goals. My vision fosters and supports transformational change and Latina empowerment. This drives community leadership roles through the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA), Cherie Blair Foundation, Florida International University and Zoetic Stage. As a result, in 2017 and 2018, I was identified as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Latinas in the U.S. in Fortune Magazine. I have mentored business startups through the Cherie Blair Mentoring Women in Business Program to help grow financial literacy and to support new business owners. I sit on the ALPFA Corporate Advisory Board and oversee Women of ALPFA, a strategic initiative for leadership and empowerment of professional Latinas and women to drive greater senior representation of Latinas in the U.S. Beginning in 2012, we’ve developed an annual leadership framework to develop and grow entry-level, mid- and senior-level Latina professionals. I sit on the Advisory Board of the Florida International University Honor’s College where the best and the brightest students(majority are minorities), gain access to an education from one of the Top 100 Public Schools in the country. My family is the core of my community. My husband, Chaz Mena, is a professional actor, director, producer, and published poet. My personal mantra forms the basis of the legacy that I want to leave to our daughter, Bella, and the world: “Take risks. Ask. Use your influence.”
