Previous Experience at Murex
Prior to his current role, Houssam Hayek held several positions at Murex. He worked as a System Tests Manager from 2013 to 2016 and as a System Testing and Integration Modules - Quality Control Team Manager from 2013 to 2015. He also served as a Senior Quality Control Engineer and Integration Consultant from 2012 to 2013. His earlier roles included Senior QA Consultant Engineer and QA Consultant Engineer, where he focused on asset management and various modules.
Education and Certifications
Houssam Hayek holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management with a Financial Emphasis from the American University of Beirut, completed from 2006 to 2009. He also earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2006. Additionally, he has achieved the ISTQB Certificate at both the Foundation Level and Advanced Level - Test Manager, emphasizing his expertise in quality assurance and testing.
Internship Experience
In 2005, Houssam Hayek interned as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo for two months. This early experience contributed to his foundational knowledge in engineering and research methodologies, which he later applied in his professional roles.
