Sarah Jenna has a strong academic background in cell biology, genetics, and virology. She earned her Master’s in Cell Biology with a specialization in Genetics and Virology from Université Aix-Marseille II / Montpellier I from 1993 to 1995. She further pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Université Aix-Marseille I from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, she completed an intensive course on C. elegans genetics at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in 2003.
Previous Academic Position
From 2006 to 2020, Sarah Jenna held the position of Professor and Canada Research Chair in Integrative Genomics and Cell Signaling at Université du Québec à Montréal. During her tenure, she led research in the Integrative Genomics and Cell Signaling Laboratory, contributing significantly to the academic community and advancing knowledge in her field.
