Additionally, she completed an intensive course on C. elegans genetics at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in 2003.

From 2006 to 2020, Sarah Jenna held the position of Professor and Canada Research Chair in Integrative Genomics and Cell Signaling at Université du Québec à Montréal.
