Jiang also acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical expertise that supports business development efforts.
Previous Experience in Biotechnology
Prior to his current role, Jiang worked at Orphidia, Inc. as a Principal Scientist from 2017 to 2019. During his tenure, he focused on developing on-chip blood diagnostics. He also held a position as a Senior Scientist at Lonza in 2017, where he gained experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Earlier, he collaborated with CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives in 2016, contributing to projects in the field of energy alternatives.
Educational Background
Jiang has a robust educational background in the life sciences. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors in Human Biology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, studying from 2008 to 2012. He then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at University College London from 2012 to 2013. Jiang completed his academic journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nanomedicine at UCL School of Pharmacy, where he studied from 2013 to 2016.

Jiang began his career with an internship at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2009, where he worked for two months in the Department of Experimental and Life Sciences. This early experience provided him with foundational skills in biological research and set the stage for his future roles in the biotechnology sector.
