Ahmed Samy has been with the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) since 2010. He currently holds the position of Head of Quality & Service Branch Support, a role he has occupied since 2018. In addition to this, he acts as the General Manager for High Net Worth (HNW) segment development and portfolio management since 2019. His responsibilities include overseeing branch support services and ensuring quality standards are met across the bank's operations in Cairo Governorate.

His career at BNP Paribas began as a Senior Account Officer in 2005, followed by a role as Branch Manager from 2007 to 2010.

Ahmed Samy has a diverse educational background. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Cairo University, studying from 1992 to 1996. He furthered his education at The American University in Cairo, where he studied various subjects including Retail Banking, Consumer Finance, and Electronic Retail Banking Products, achieving 'Very Good' grades in these courses. Additionally, he studied Sales & Marketing at the same institution, where he received an 'Excellent' grade.
