Career at NSI

Mark Goodrich joined NSI in June 2020 as the Executive Vice President for Programs. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing various programs and ensuring they are aligned with the company’s strategic goals. His extensive experience in the defense sector allows him to effectively manage and lead significant projects within the organization.

Navy Service and Leadership Role

Mark Goodrich retired from the Navy in 2015 as a Supply Corps Captain after 25 years of service. His final position was as the Department Head for NAVAIR-2.5, where he managed most of the NAVAIR and Naval Air Warfare Centers service and aircraft support contracts, valued at approximately $5 billion annually. His leadership and management skills were pivotal in ensuring the success of these high-stakes contracts.

Educational Background

Mark Goodrich holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Miami University. Additionally, he has earned master's degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School in Systems Management, and from the Eisenhower school (formerly the Industrial College of the Armed Forces) in National Resource Strategy. Furthering his professional development, he completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

In his first private-sector role, Mark Goodrich served as the Vice President of Corporate Operations and Chief of Staff for a local defense-based contractor. His transition from military service to corporate operations demonstrated his adaptability and provided him with valuable experience in the private defense sector.
