About Neg Lakew, Leed Ap
Neg has over fifteen years of experience in planning, design, and construction as it relates to resiliency and green infrastructure development, including various projects within New York City’s built environment. He's always seeking to integrate his skills, knowledge and abilities towards sustainable progress, while looking to inject his experience in project management, construction and environmental issues towards improving the economical and structural development within focused regions. As climate change becomes a more pressing issue, Neg has been on the forefront of coastal protection and hazard mitigation planning in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in New York City. Working with public, private and non-profit organizations, he is helping push resilient designs and policies into the most vulnerable communities in the city. Neg is focused on the long term sustainability of these impacted neighborhoods and continues to concentrate on implementing resiliency through climate adaptation strategies into the built environment.
