A neurodiverse champion, coach, parent, nurse / Clinical Director and entrepreneur. Fundamentally a clinician passionate about wellbeing and health both within healthcare and outside. Founder of Practical Wisdom a social enterprise that supports fellow neurodivergent folk in a number of ways such as the Parent Thrive Coaching membership. Which is also open to others who may be finding parenting life a little tricky. Also support adults with the neurodivergent financial wellbeing course to gain control of their money, see what options they have and create a brighter future. Within the NHS an extensive track record of service improvement and at the forefront of innovation and transformation. A clinician with over three decades of experience, an exceptional leader and has been a senior lecturer as well. Used to running national and local programmes/projects, and being a workshop facilitator, key note speaker, mentor and coach, who has run action learning sets/masterminds. Currently privileged to be a Commissioning Clinical Director (one of the first nurses in the country to be in this CCG role) Have an exciting brief of urgent care, patient transport and addressing trangender, non-binary and intersex health inequalities. As an adoptive parent with psychology & counselling degree also familiar with neurosequential modelling/therapeutic parenting. On a mission to make trauma informed approach more mainstream.
