RamPrasad (RamP) Moudgalya currently serves as the R&D Director, Platform & Products at National Instruments (NI). In this role, he oversees the development of RFmx, a set of interoperable software applications designed to optimize NI Instrumentation for various test applications including general purpose, cellular, connectivity, and Aero/Defense. RamPrasad also manages the Systems R&D group at NI Bangalore in addition to his primary responsibilities.

Before joining NI, RamPrasad worked in several pivotal roles in the technology sector. He was the Managing Director and Head of India Operations at BridgeCo from 2008 to 2010. He served as Director on the Board and Treasurer at SoL South Foundation from 2008 to 2013. At Roamware (India) Pvt. Ltd., he was the Director of Engineering (Mobile Media) from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, he held the position of Operations Manager for the OS BSP Group at Freescale Semiconductor from 2006 to 2007 and was the Principal Engineering Manager at Kyocera Wireless India from 2003 to 2006. RamPrasad started his career at Sasken Communication Technologies, where he worked as an Engineering Manager from 1993 to 2003.
Educational Background
RamPrasad holds an M.Tech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, completed in 1993. He also earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Mysore in 1990. His strong educational background laid the foundation for his extensive career in engineering and management.

RamPrasad has led various projects involving multiple technologies, platforms, operating systems, and chipsets, particularly in the mobile handset industry.
