I am a go-to-market strategy, business development, communications, marketing, talent acquisition, investor relations, and generative AI advisor to medtech, biopharma industry and tech startups and emerging-growth companies. With more than 25 years of cross-functional experience in business development/sales and partnerships, strategic planning, corporate communications, investor targeting, business intelligence, omnichannel marketing, branding, investor relations, market research, data science and analytics, market access, social media, diversity and inclusion, launch planning, IPOs, advocacy relations, clinical trial recruitment, and patient engagement, I thrive when applying my diverse background to new challenges. I serve on the advisory boards for many medtech and tech startups and biopharma services companies, all using AI in their proprietary solutions. I guide these companies on developing commercial roadmaps and strategies, investor outreach, business and partnership development, revenue generation, recruitment of talent, marketing, and communications/PR, as well as identifying and deploying generative AI tools to boost valuation, innovation and productivity and gain a competitive edge. I am active in the OC business community and have served as President of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) OC and currently serve on its Advisory Board and Mentoring Program and participate in the HBA Executive Women’s program Circle of Advisors and Women of Octane. At Syneos Health, I was a SVP in Business Development and promoted to a Client Partnerships role providing Integrated Communications, Commercial and Clinical solutions to large biopharma/device clients. Prior to Syneos, I founded a boutique strategic marketing, IR and communications consultancy where my clients ranged from healthcare and tech companies to private equity and law firms. My career includes tenure as VP of Investor Relations at a tech company undertaking an IPO. I started my career in investment banking at Salomon Brothers in NYC.
