About Gino Brogdon Jr.
The pandemic has exacerbated a problem that has existed for decades, legacy paper based systems cannot be accessed in a remote world. Fourth Party was developed by Negotiators for Negotiators to drive outcomes for clients and innovation in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution. After practicing law for nearly a decade, Gino found that he enjoyed 2 aspects of his work: engaging with people and helping them solve problems. This led him to Alternative Dispute Resolution, something he would have never looked into unless he was introduced by a mentor. His ability to command the room and drive conversation while evoking empathy drove Gino to success as a full-time mediator and arbitrator. However, keeping track of case information, communication and filings was frustrating. Fourth party was created to solve 2 major problems. Negotiators need to access their cases remotely and they need helpful reminders to keep cases moving in the right direction. Gino developed and point tested FourthParty over the past 3 years by doing peer reviews, mediation clinics and A B testing to make sure it was what he, his team and his colleagues needed. Fourth Party’s web-based application provides remote access to the information a mediator or arbitrator needs to bring a case from intake to resolution. In 2021 FourthParty was awarded $100,000 from Google For Startups as a high-potential legal-tech startup. This gave Gino and co-founder & wife Melissa the foundation to continue building. Negotiations are hard enough. Managing the details shouldn’t be.
