About Jamie Ansorge
Jamie Ansorge is an attorney and government relations professional at Cozen O'Conner. In this role he engages in legislative, regulatory, and budgetary advocacy on behalf of a variety of clients. These clients include major trade associations, private companies and not-for-profit organizations. He has worked with for-profit clients ranging from transportation and telecommunications providers to app-based technology companies and entertainment producers. He has also serviced non-profit clients including one of New York’s largest hospital systems, many large cultural institutions, and various social service organizations that focus on issues ranging from domestic violence, women's health, and elder abuse to educational enrichment for under-served youth and technology empowerment services for seniors. Jamie has a strong background in local government, politics and policy. Before law school, he served as finance director to the campaign of a senior Member of the New York Congressional Delegation. In this role, he was a top adviser to the Member while raising more than $3 million in a nationally covered successful reelection battle. He has served as a consultant to, and in leadership roles with, numerous campaigns for public office, political organizations, and non-profits. Jamie has completed internships with the New York City Council, Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, British Parliament, and the Coro Center for Leadership in Public Affairs. While at Brooklyn Law School, Jamie was an Editor for the Journal of Law & Policy, a Member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and assisted numerous start-up companies and non-profits as a Member of the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy (BLIP) Clinic. While at Brandeis University, Jamie served as the Director of Communications for the Student Union and Chief Justice of the Student Judiciary.
