About Kyla Frenia
I am a student of bioengineering. My primary areas of interest are the research and development of imaging technology and implants. In addition to studying bioengineering, I am also minoring in Mathematics and Entrepreneurship. Outside of school, I am an avid outdoors-woman. I enjoy backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking. I am very passionate about giving children the opportunity to be introduced to outdoors, as hiking and being outside has been important to me in my life. In pursuit of this, I have worked as a summer camp counselor at an outdoor adventure camp for many years and currently volunteer with Youth Enrichment Services in Boston, a nonprofit that teaches kids how to ski.
