Prior to his current position, Krisna Sagala held various engineering roles. He worked at Thiess as a Civil Structural Engineer from 2013 to 2014 in North Kalimantan, Indonesia, and later as a Project Engineer in East Kalimantan for 11 months in 2014. He also served as a QA/QC Civil Engineer at Thiess from 2012 to 2013 in Central Kalimantan. Additionally, he worked as a Project Engineer at VICO Indonesia from 2014 to 2016.
Project Management at Sweco
Krisna Sagala was employed at Sweco as a Project Manager in Structural Engineering from 2018 to 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden. During his tenure, he specialized in optimizing structural designs for battery manufacturing facilities across Europe, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure in the region.

Krisna Sagala has a strong educational background in engineering. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Indonesia, completing the program from 2007 to 2012. Krisna Sagala began his career with an internship at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, where he worked for seven months in 2010 in the Greater Jakarta Area, Indonesia. This experience laid the foundation for his subsequent roles in civil and structural engineering.
