His early career included a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ENEA from 2006 to 2008 in Rome, Italy.
Education and Expertise
Sangsik Jeong has a strong educational background in Materials Science. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Gyeongsang National University, where he studied from 1998 to 2006. He also obtained a Master in Engineering from the same university, completing his studies from 1996 to 1998. His expertise includes the development of pure ionic liquids (ILs) electrolytes and their applications in battery systems. He has experience in carbon coating lithium sulfide-based materials and evaluating their electrochemical performance in Li/S batteries.
