Her experience also includes positions at Now Foods/Puresource Inc. and SGS Nutrasource, where she specialized in regulatory compliance for natural health products.

Tania John holds both a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the University of Guelph. She completed her B.Sc. in Nutrition & Nutraceutical Sciences from 2003 to 2007 and her M.Sc. in Food Safety & Quality Assurance from 2009 to 2010. This educational foundation has equipped her with the knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of regulatory affairs in the natural health product industry.

Additionally, she leads the Scientific & Technical and Regulatory Committees for the Global Prebiotic Association, where she plays a vital role in shaping regulatory practices and standards within the industry.

She served on the Ad Hoc Program Advisory Committee for the Fundamentals of Natural Health Products Program at Seneca College from 2014 to 2016.
