About Aditi Bodhankar
I am a graduate student at the University of Southern California pursuing a Master's in Electrical Engineering specializing in Machine Learning & Deep Learning. My rather strong educational background in Mathematics, Data Science, and Electronics and Communication Engineering along with solid research experience has equipped me with the skills of asking the right question and finding efficient solutions. My goal is to apply the skills that I learned in both academic and research settings to challenging industrial problems in the area of Deep Learning and Computer Vision. Before my Master's, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2019 to 2021, in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization. During my research endeavors, I have published 3 papers and presented at 2 conferences. I am currently working as a volunteer for the Grace Hopper Conference, One of the largest networking events for women in computing. Apart from my academic background, I am a part-time social worker with experience of around 6 years in the field, working in the areas of Providing the Homeless of Los Angeles, Female Empowerment, and rural child education since 2016. To this date, I have been a significant part of the Smile Train Foundation, working as a Donar Relations Specialist for providing sustainable professional medical aid and resources to treat cleft in young children around the globe.
