Prior to my legal career, I was a research scientist at IBM and Sarnoff Labs. I have almost 25 years of experience as a patent attorney at top Silicon Valley law firms, including high technology law firms like Cooley and Fenwick &West. My experience also includes 6 months as the acting patent manager at Nvidia when I was working at Cooley. My practice includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, developing an intellectual property strategy, patent licensing, patent opinions, patent reexaminations, pre-litigation counseling, and intellectual property audits. My work with VCs, has included helping them analyze the value of the patent portfolios owned by the companies they have invested in. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS I am active in the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association (SVIPLA) and serve on the board.
