About Matthew D.

I am a graduate Computer Engineering student interested in software and hardware development (especially GPGPU and Ray Tracing). I am also seeking full-time opportunities in Hardware Engineering and GPU Architecture opportunities specifically in Computer Graphics and Ray Tracing. I have experience collaborating with development teams in professional environments while working in SystemVerilog, SystemC, C/C++, AWS, Java, Python, Javascript, Splunk, HTML, CSS, and Apex (Salesforce.com). I have also personally and professionally explored different machine learning and evolutionary & convolutional learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and GPU acceleration in the form of CUDA and OpenMP development. I have also gotten the opportunity to work on future cutting-edge Apple Silicon GPU architecture and machine learning future Navi GPU hardware in games at AMD. My Master's thesis is focused on hardware-accelerated ray-tracing, and I hope to continue this work following graduation. In my free time, I enjoy nature photography and playing volleyball.
