Early Career and Education

Leonardo Trasande began his career with fellowships at Boston Children's Hospital and as a Health Policy Fellow in the Office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton from 2002 to 2003. He completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Boston Combined Residency in Pediatrics from 1999 to 2002. His educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School (1994-1999) and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School (1997-1999). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (1990-1994).
