He served as an Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine and Pediatrics from 2010 to 2011 and as an Assistant Professor from 2005 to 2010. He also completed a fellowship in Environmental Pediatrics at Mount Sinai from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, he worked at NYU Langone Medical Center as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Environmental Medicine, and Population Health from 2011 to 2015.
Early Career and Education
Leonardo Trasande began his career with fellowships at Boston Children's Hospital and as a Health Policy Fellow in the Office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton from 2002 to 2003. He completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Boston Combined Residency in Pediatrics from 1999 to 2002. His educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School (1994-1999) and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School (1997-1999). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (1990-1994).
