Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria. Erin also earned a Master of Science in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

She also serves as a Visiting Researcher at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) since 2012 and has been a Convener at the Climate Leadership Initiative since 2017, empowering young climate leaders from the global South to drive change.
