Josie Emanuel serves as the Senior Communications Officer for Risk at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) since 2020. She also served as the Senior Media Relations Officer at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust from 2019 to 2020. Her earlier roles include Media and Communications Manager at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority and Internal Communications Advisor at the Department of Education & Training in Victoria.

Josie Emanuel has a solid foundation in media and communications, having worked in various capacities since 2010. She began her career as a Communications Editor at Engineers Australia - Victoria Division.
