Early Career Background
Laetitia Pettinotti began her career as a Climate Change Economics Consultant at Artelia Group in 2012, where she worked for six months in the Paris Area, France. She also gained experience as a Forestry Economics Research Assistant at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for four months in 2013. These early roles laid the foundation for her ongoing work in climate economics and research.

Pettinotti has made significant contributions to the field of climate finance. She has written extensively on topics such as the New Collective Quantified Goal and co-authored a research report on climate finance with colleagues Tony Mwenda Kamninga and Sarah Colenbrander. Her research explores burden-sharing and broadening the contributor base for climate finance, as well as the collective aspects of the New Collective Quantified Goal.
