Work at Ofcom
Lisa Correa has been serving as Principal Economist in the Chief Economist team at Ofcom since 2011. Prior to her current position, she worked as a Senior Economist in the same team from 2005 to 2011. Lisa Correa earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, where she studied from 1998 to 2003. Before joining Ofcom, Lisa Correa worked at NERA Economic Consulting as an Economic Consultant in the Communications Practice from 2003 to 2004. She also held the position of Manager of Competition Policy at Cable & Wireless Communications from 1994 to 1998, where she managed the legal separation of Openreach from BT. This experience involved leading a multidisciplinary team and delivering comprehensive economic analysis.
Achievements
Throughout her career, Lisa Correa has developed and directed econometric studies to evaluate the impact of mergers involving disruptive firms on competition.
