Rey is the CEO and founder of One Degree, a non-profit organization that brings life-changing social services within reach for the millions of low-income people seeking help every day. He is also a visiting social innovator fellow at Harvard University, where he shares his insights and expertise on startups, social enterprise, and social and urban policy. With over two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, Rey has a passion for creating innovative solutions that empower people to overcome poverty and access opportunities. He has led One Degree through a successful merger, the prestigious Y Combinator program, and multiple awards and recognitions. He has also been a fellow for several leadership and social impact initiatives, such as Echoing Green, Education Pioneers, and New America CA. Rey holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California.
